The Northern Australia Conservation Alliance (NACA) acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands, seas and waters across Northern Australia. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and honour the continuing cultures, knowledge systems and custodial responsibilities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise that these Nations were self-governing under their own laws and customs long before colonisation, and that sovereignty was never ceded. NACA stands alongside First Nations peoples in the ongoing care and protection of Country. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
